As the end of 2022 approaches, many ORO residents and guests look for fun activities and adventures in the ORO area. Thanks to Dee Sordillo, we have the following list of local activities to explore:
- Nov 4-20: The Outsider (Lake Wales, FL)
- The Lake Wales Little Theater presents this timely and hilarious comedy that skewers politics and celebrates democracy.
- Nov 6: SPOOKTACULAR! (Avon Park, FL)
- Cirque-Tacular Productions presents spooks, specters, and scaredy-cats that contort and cavort through a high-flying circus of scare. Enjoy this fun show for the whole family.
- Nov 10-20: As You Like It (Orlando, FL)
- This show is one of Shakespeare’s timeless comedies where “All the World’s a Stage” and love is manifested in its glorious forms.
- Nov 12: Tapestry – Carole King Tribute (Avon Park, FL)
- A beautiful re-creation of the Carole King songbook performed with a live band and multimedia images.
- Nov 12-13: Majestic Bruckner /Dvořák Grandeur (Orlando, FL)
- Get carried away by the radiant strings, the majestic brasses, the long-breathed phrases, and the splendor of this music.
- Nov 13: Guitars and Cars (Mt Dora, FL)
- Renninger’s Florida Twin Markets, on Rt. 441 brings you a union of the Lake County Musician’s Swap Meet and the Lake County Classic Car & Cycle Swap Meet, Car Show, and Cruise-in.
- Nov 18-20: Antiques and Collectors Extravaganza (Mt Dora, FL)
- More than 800 vendors sell antiques, collectibles, vintage, and more. This 3-day event includes indoor and outdoor venues.
- Nov 26: Home for the Holidays (Orlando, FL)
- Experience the sounds of the season with the Holiday Singers, the Opera Orlando Youth Company, and other guests in Steinmetz Hall. This show is a great way to start the holiday season with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra.
- Nov 25 – Dec 30: EPCOT Candlelight Processional
- Each night, a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas. Throughout the story, the choir and orchestra performs songs of hope and joy. The official dates have not yet been published.
