The Events and Entertainment Committee at Outdoor Resorts organizes some incredible events each year. These events bring our community together and give everyone the opportunity to visit with each other and meet new friends.

ORO is an active community with so much for you to explore:
Events by the EE Committee
- BINGO: BINGO starts at the end of October and is hosted Fridays in the clubhouse upstairs.
- Blood Drive: The Blood Bus comes to the ORO clubhouse parking lot in November, January, and March.
- Driveway Sale: Three times throughout the year, owners throughout the park host “yard sales” on their driveways.
- Entertainment Nights: These nights include dances, music, dinners, and entertainers.
- ORO Breakfast: This breakfast, hosted monthly during the busy season, brings members from our community together.
- Travel Trips: From 1-day trips to multiple-day adventures, join the fun with these fun-loving groups of ORO community members.
Activities
- Church Services: Every Sunday (November through April) at 8:30am in the clubhouse upstairs.
- Cornhole: Every Wednesday 1pm to 3pm, during the busy season, in front of the clubhouse. Everyone is welcome!
- Golf: Golfers are meeting in the parking lot by Number 1 Green at 9:30am. Remember to stay six feet apart and stay safe! If you want a certain captain, please arrive with him/her. Currently only playing best ball. MAX 36 PEOPLE.
- Horseshoes: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30am to 12pm.
- Pickleball & Tennis: We meet each day (Mon-Sat) to play Pickleball & Tennis. We trade days with one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. For more information, see the Calendar of Events and Activities.
- Pickleball Beginner Clinic: Learn to play a physically active sport for a healthy lifestyle. Contact Don V (lot 341) to schedule your time!
- Shuffleboard: Meeting daily at 8:50am! New players are welcome! Social distancing will be followed and equipment sanitized.
Games and Meetings
Many groups host games and meetings in the first floor of the clubhouse. From bridge to poker and many other popular games, please come and join the fun. The scheduled times are added to the Calendar as meetings are scheduled.
More Items for You to Enjoy
- Swimming Pools: The pools are open 10am-10pm. Please allow the pool cleaners to finish before entering pool.
- Library: The Library is available when the Clubhouse Downstairs is open. Books and puzzles are available from our lending library.
- Produce Wagon: The Produce Wagon parks on 192 near our entrance (not on ORO property) on Saturdays and Sundays approximately 10-6 for your convenience.
