The ORO official documents provide requirements about our 55+ community, including limitations for people who are less than 55 years of age. The following description is an attempt to simplify this information to help our residents. For owners who want to rent their unit, they need to abide by these age requirements.
ORO Age Requirements
If the oldest occupant residing at the Unit is age 55 years or older:
- Any occupant age 18 years or older can stay at the property with the oldest occupant.
- Any occupant less than 18 years of age can stay at the property up to 30 calendar days in a year.
If the oldest occupant residing at the Unit is 40-54 years of age:
- Any occupant age 18 years or older, including the oldest occupant, can stay at the property up to 90 calendar days in a year.
- Any occupant less than 18 years of age can stay at the property up to 30 calendar days in a year.
If the oldest occupant residing at the Unit is less than 40 years of age:
- Any occupant 18-39 years of age, including the oldest occupant, can stay at the property up to 30 calendar days in a year.
- Any occupant less than 18 years of age cannot stay at the property.
